
| San Antonio Spurs Assign Green to NBA D-League Affiliate Austin Toros | |

Green (6-6, 210) has averaged 2.6 points in five games with the Spurs this season – two in November and three since earning a GATORADE Call-Up from the Reno Bighorns on March 16. In 16 games (15 starts) with Reno this season, Green averaged 20.1 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists. Selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round (46th overall) of the 2009 NBA Draft, Green appeared in 20 games with the Cavs last season, averaging 2.0 points in 5.8 minutes. He was assigned to the Erie BayHawks for two games last season, averaging 25.5 points and 5.5 rebounds. A McDonald’s All-American in high school, Green played in 145 games at North Carolina, winning more (123) than any Tar Heel in history. In four years at UNC, Green finished as the only player in Atlantic Coast Conference history to tally at least 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 250 assists, 150 three-pointers, 150 blocks and 150 steals. As a senior in 2008-09, Green averaged 13.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.3 blocks in 38 games (all starts), helping to lead North Carolina to the NCAA Championship. Green is the 37th NBA player to be assigned to the NBA D-League this season, extending an all-time high. Green’s assignment also ties the previous record of 53 assignments in a season, set in 2007-08. Green is expected to join the Toros for their final game of the season, at home tonight vs. Texas at 8:30 p.m. ET.
